Trailblazing Global Initiatives for a Greener Future

At COP29, The Green Pillar made a significant impact by championing sustainability, education, and innovation on the global stage. Led by our founder, Prasiddhi Singh—the youngest delegate at the conference – we hosted a groundbreaking panel discussion, “Harnessing the Power of Storytelling for Eco-Tourism,” in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Brazil where Prasiddhi launched her first book, “Prasiddhi’s Amazon Rainforest Adventure,” and amplifying global voices for climate action through creative campaigns. Together, we showcased how storytelling, partnerships, and bold strategies can inspire collective action for a greener future.

Future Voices for Soil

Prasiddhi Singh, founder of The Green Pillar, led a vital Youth Roundtable at COP29 in collaboration with Conscious Planet’s Pavilion, spotlighting soil conservation. The panel, themed Future Voices for Soil, united changemakers to discuss policies, research, action projects, and global perspectives. The panel brought a global perspective, sharing local stories to inspire the audience to take action at every level for meaningful change.

Ministry of Brazil Tourism Panel Discussion

The Green Pillar organised a panel on “Harnessing the Power of Storytelling for Eco-Tourism”, in collaboration with the Ministry of Brazil Tourism and Prasiddhi Forest Foundation. Prasiddhi Singh highlighted the transformative role of storytelling in promoting sustainable travel. During the panel, she launched her first book, “Prasiddhi’s Amazon Rainforest Adventure.”

Extreme Hangout - Communication for the Earth: A Child Environmentalist's Perspective

Prasiddhi Singh delivered a powerful keynote, “Communication for Earth: A Child Environmentalist’s Perspective,” highlighting the need for effective communication in addressing eco-anxiety, greenwashing, and driving positive change by harnessing the power of entertaining yet effective media.

At the Cultural Event, Prasiddhi Singh delivered a heartfelt storytelling intervention by reading excerpts from her book, “Prasiddhi’s Amazon Rainforest Adventure.” This engaging session highlighted the power of narratives in inspiring collective action for climate resilience.

Global to Local Youth

During the “Global to Local Youth” discussion with YouthTopia, Prasiddhi was invited as a guest panelist. She shared insights on bridging global policies with local climate actions and emphasized the critical role of youth in driving transformative change.

Climate Live

Prasiddhi Singh led a session for Climate Live and spoke at their concert, using the platform to amplify youth voices in climate advocacy. Through the power of music and storytelling, she inspired action towards a sustainable and just future.

Children & Youth Pavilion

At the Children & Youth Pavilion at COP29, Prasiddhi Singh led an engaging session focused on empowering young minds with safe and creative pathways for climate activism. By advocating innovation and inclusivity, she inspired youth to take action while ensuring their contributions are impactful and sustainable.

Spokesperson for Children and Youth (UN)

Prasiddhi was announced as the spokesperson for the Children and Youth Pavilion, the United Nations’ official platform for youth at COP29. She took a pivotal role in representing youth, advocating for policies that ensure their voices are integral to global climate solutions.

Official Impact Maker

Nigar Arpadarai appointed our founder, Prasiddhi as the official Impact Maker for COP29 and COP30, recognizing her commitment to driving meaningful climate action and inspiring the next generation of sustainability champions.
