The Green Pillar was honoured to be part of a special FICCI FLO Chennai event featuring a candid fireside chat between two Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021 awardees: our founder, Prasiddhi Singh, and the inspirational young mountaineer, Kaamya Karthikeyan. The session brought together two young leaders from different fields, united by a shared passion for pushing boundaries and driving positive change. The conversation was engaging and relevant for the young generation, leaving a strong impact on the students and offering them a meaningful learning experience.
In a heartfelt conversation, Prasiddhi and Kaamya shared the stories behind their remarkable journeys. They spoke openly about the challenges they’ve faced, the failures that taught them invaluable lessons, and the small victories that have fueled their missions. Prasiddhi discussed her environment & climate action initiatives with the Prasiddhi Forest Foundation & The Green Pillar, while Kaamya recounted her incredible expeditions scaling the highest peaks on six continents in her quest to complete the Seven Summits. Their dialogue highlighted the power of perseverance and the importance of staying true to one’s purpose.
The event also spotlighted Prasiddhi’s environmental storytelling with the showcase and signing of her book “Prasiddhi’s Amazon Rainforest Adventure.” Each signed copy represented a tree planted, transforming inspiring conversations into a real, lasting impact on the ground. Beyond the book, it was a heartwarming moment for Prasiddhi to reconnect with Kaamya Karthikeyan, whose remarkable mountaineering journey continues to inspire. Together, they shared their passions, purpose, and commitment to shaping a greener, braver future.
