Engaging Young Minds at the International School of Paris, France

Turning Classroom Conversations into Climate Action

Prasiddhi led an engaging dialogue with young changemakers

During her visit to Paris, our founder, Prasiddhi Singh, conducted an interactive session with students at the International School of Paris (ISP). She shared her journey, took pledges with students, and led discussions around their shared love for nature, along with upcoming student-led projects in conservation and afforestation. Within the IB PYP environment, the session focused on connecting learning with real-world climate action.

Stories that Inspire Action

Students engaged deeply with Prasiddhi’s books, Prasiddhi’s Amazon Rainforest Adventure and Prasiddhi’s Great Barrier Reef Adventure, sparking conversations around protecting forests and marine ecosystems. These stories helped students understand conservation more practically, linking environmental awareness to ecosystems on land and in the ocean.

From Words to Action: The Birth of a Mini Climate Project

The session led to the initiation of a mini climate action project, encouraging students to take their ideas forward into real initiatives. Supported by the school’s leadership and educators, focused on conservation and afforestation, the project reflects how early exposure and clear direction can help students move from discussion to implementation.

Building Future Leaders

The engagement reinforced that climate leadership begins early when students are given the space to participate, take responsibility, and act. Through such collaborations, The Green Pillar continues to support schools in building a generation that is informed, involved, and action-oriented.
